(reprinted from 1842 original) 110p. Book is clean and tight though both folding maps have suffered in the binding and though all there, are detached and split along folds. Each pamphlet is signed by the owner Robert D.F.Sherriff. Bright blue boards show a very little wear at edges only.; rather inadequate gilt titling on spine reads "Culloden. The '45". See scans and email for many more. Very Good.

. A hand coloured small poster (8" x10") with titling and the actors names only for the film "It's a Pleasure" - a 1945 film by director William A. Seiter and starring Sonja Henie and Michael O'Shea. The brightly coloured poster was hand made for display at a cinema in the North of Scotland - no identifying marks but was with a bundle of cinema programs from that area - Inverness, Elgin, Nairn, Tain. Similar poster listed for the film "They were expendable". See scans. Very Good +.

. A hand coloured small poster (8" x10") with titling and the actors names only for the film "They Were Expendable" - a 1945 American war film directed by John Ford and starring Robert Montgomery and John Wayne and featuring Donna Reed. The film is based on the book by William L. White, relating the story of the exploits of Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron Three, a PT boat unit defending the Philippines against Japanese invasion during the Battle of the Philippines (1941-42) in World War II. The brightly coloured poster was hand made for display at a cinema in the North of Scotland - no identifying marks but was with a bundle of cinema programs from that area - Inverness, Elgin, Nairn, Tain.
